Who we want… (Requirements)
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience; or a degree from a four-year college or university or technical college with a minimum of seven (7) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam), business software. May require knowledge of applications specific to the project assigned.
• Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and experience producing architectural drawings is required.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
• Lead and mentor architectural and design staff, promoting a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
• Collaborate with the Project Team to define roles and responsibilities and ensure shared ownership of project deliverables
• Develop and support technical proposals, design schedules, and cost estimates with a focus on feasibility and alignment with Customer expectations.
• Review and oversee design proposal criteria and contribute to the preparation of detailed technical proposal documents. • Function as the design lead on smaller proposals, typically less than 10 million dollars.
• Conduct research on design strategies, building codes, and regulatory requirements to drive technical excellence.
• Consults with Customer to determine functional and spatial requirements and prepare and present integrated architectural and engineering design layouts that reflect a holistic, multidisciplinary approach.
• Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) efforts for design documentation across all disciplines and consultants.
• Support preparation and submission of design documents to Authority Having Jurisdiction.
• Maintain adherence to company and industry standards, procedures, and best practices throughout all project phases.
• Review and provide input and oversight on deliverables produced by Architectural Technicians, as well as deliverables produced by other design disciplines, including subconsultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• Support construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, RFI’s, site observations and monitoring special inspections.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising team members such as Architectural Technicians on various sized projects. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work; providing input for appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
